Diagnostic Master Technician

Profile

The role as Diagnostic Master Technician is the Mothership’s troubleshooters. The profile is working structured in its diagnostics, independently able to trace faults down to root causes. Able to write and fulfil work orders, and tickets for engineering teams. There will be a lot of independent task’s, so it is important to be disciplined and responsible.

  • Relevant technical background and in depth understanding of Electric vehicle systems.
  • Interest and flair for Electric Vehicles
  • Actively seeks to build or acquire new knowledge in order to improve and develop skills
  • Enjoys documenting cases, faults, and solutions

Job Description

As the diagnostic master technician you will be the mothership’s troubleshooter, whenever we encounter “vehicle off roads”, or loss of vehicle systems, advanced troubleshooting, or High voltage this is our guy. In Addition, all HV diagnostics will be performed by Diag-MasterTechs.

  • Troubleshoot on all Electric Vehicle systems
  • Work with High Voltage systems
  • Teach / Pass knowledge to Service Team
  • Gather information and trends about faults found
  • Provide estimated time and cost for diagnosing / repair
  • Repairing and replacing faulty wirings or electrical systems
  • Maintain a clean working environment
  • Document cases & solutions
  • Completing Work orders and paperwork
  • Communicate cases & solutions with customers
  • Communicate with Engineering team
  • Assisting engineering Team creating new solutions to problems
  • Provide On-site support for workshop team when necessary
  • Handle all “Vehicle off road’s

Who should you be?

Like ourselves, our new colleagues need to be curious, interested in learning, creative and hungry for challenges.

You have recently graduated, or you are about to graduate from your final year of studies in car mechanics, electronics.

Preferably you have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree within tech-related subjects. For example, Programming, Data engineering, Electronics, Informatics and Information processing.

You have experience with electrical vehicles and high voltage systems. You are efficient, eager to learn and hard working.

Fluency in English, and preferably in one or more Scandinavian languages.
